Diamond clarity and color are the two most difficult parts to understand when purchasing a diamond. The value of the stone is based on four Cs, of which clarity and color are only two. The other two are cut and carat. These are simpler. Carat means how big the stone is. Cut references the shape the diamond is cut in.
